The article presents the results of theoretical analysis of the problem about the place and role of
creativity in the structure of future professional training. The role of creativity in the process of
professional development has been determined. Attention has been focused on the description of creative
potential and creative abilities of a person. It has been argued that creativity is the possible level of
human readiness for self-development.
