From the history of activity of national primary schools in Transcarpathia of the XX century.

Abstract

The processes of transformation of modern education are aimed at the widest possible implementation of the principles of democratization, demonopolization, cooperation of the school with various social institutions. At the same time, we observe a number of contradictions between the historically proven humanistic direction of primary education and the inadequate level of its implementation in the educational process of modern primary school; between the need to take into account the regional specifics of primary school and insufficient study of the retrospective of local features of its organization and content. Of particular importance is the problem of native language learning in the context of a multicultural region, which is Transcarpathia with its multifaceted and unique history. For many centuries, due to its convenient geographical location, a large number of nationalities and representatives of different religious denominations coexist peacefully in Transcarpathia, mutually enriching each other's culture, traditions and education.
