Elementary school as a forum for the development of philosophical ideas with social significance

Abstract

This reflective research posits that when philosophical dialogue is promoted in schools, fundamental ontological changes occur, with political and social implications for human relationships and the teaching-learning processes that take place there. Therefore, using a hermeneutic and constructivist methodology, the objec- tive of the research is to analyze the role of primary school as a space for deliberation and collective construction of thought, understood as an agora where children develop philosophical ideas with social and community meaning.
