Abstract:
The history of the development of the phenomenon “emotional intelligence” has been
examined in the article, the different views of foreign and Ukrainian scientists regarding the
problem of emotional intelligence have been analyzed. Some aspects of the emergence and
formation of this scientific concept have been shown. It has been revealed that the problem of
emotional intelligence is relatively new in the scientific discourse and important in terms of
realizing the goals of the New Ukrainian School.
