Problems of self-awareness among young people with addictive behavior (on the example of tobacco smoking)

Abstract

In recent years, there has been an increased interest in the addictions of minors, which can be traced in the works of C. Korolenko, V. Mendelevych, O. Bezpalko, A. Kapska, N. Zaveriko, O. Karpenko, M. Okarinsky, P. Husak, N. Burmaka, O. Savchuk, T. Martyniuk, I. Shyshova, O. Murashkevich. All of these researchers studied the problem of addictions and devoted many of their works to the development of this problem. Addictive behavior of young men is considered as one of the forms of deviant behavior, which is expressed in the desire to escape from reality by changing their mental state through the use of psychoactive substances. The self-awareness of young people with addictive behavior has its own characteristics, and our study is aimed at identifying these features.
