Zusammenfassung: The article examines the socio-economic determinants of income formation among employees of the agricultural sector of Ukraine and their role in ensuring the sustainable development of rural territories. Using correlation and regression analysis, an econometric model was developed to quantitatively assess the influence of the studied factors on income formation in the agricultural sector. The modelling results demonstrate that the key driver of wage growth is the increase in labour productivity, whereas the impact of investment activity and profitability is more indirect. The study substantiates the need for a comprehensive approach to shaping the economic conditions that support income growth among agricultural sector employees in order to ensure the sustainable development of rural territories.
