Abstract: The article reveals the meaning of the concept of "communication", and shows the effectiveness of professional communication and the communication space of non-language specialists in higher education institutions. The experimental research (ascertainment stage) made it possible to find out the existing level of formation of professional communication of specialists of nonlanguage specialties in institutions of higher education, to single out shortcomings in the formation of professional communication of specialists, to single out the main factors affecting the insufficient development of professional communication of specialists and to develop in institutions of higher education necessary ways to overcome the insufficient development of the formation of professional communication of nonlanguage specialists.
